A few nights ago I was caught off guard by an late-night text that read, "Talib is in town and wants to shoot a video for 'Last Ones' tomorrow, call me!” Within 30 mins Talib and I are on the phone bouncing creative concepts back and forth. With a plan in place, we set a time and location, and by noon the next day we were shooting in the Oakland/Berkeley area. With just three short hours of prep, an Arri camera package, 5 uber rides, over 50 phone calls asking for favors to calling an audible to switch locations due to a rain delay we knocked out this video.
